Boxing: The New and Improved Workout

Boxing%3A+The+New+and+Improved+Workout

With the summer season only a short few months away, everyone is in a scramble to get into the best “beach body” shape of their lives. Because of this, “drastic times cause for drastic matters” becomes the new motto. People go on extreme diets, take diet pills and try to fit in some amount of exercise into their busy schedules.

Most of the time the combination of all three ends in poor results and an unhappy body. However, the new workout trend of boxing proves effective and healthy.

Boxing has become a huge workout trend within the past year. Celebrities, such as Gigi Hadid, Kendell Jenner, Ellie Goulding and even Harry Styles, have posted videos of themselves hitting the bags, so to speak.

A 30 minute boxing workout, mixed in with burpees, crunches and even some pushups is said to be about a 600 calorie workout.

But do not worry, there’s no need to go to the gym and wait in the long line to use the only punching bag they have to offer. You can get the same results by doing a home workout without boxing equipment. The hard- hitting movements is what gets results, not necessarily the amount of force put into hitting the bag. There’s also specific gyms, such as TITLE, just for boxing.

For a great home workout, that will get you ready to wear your favorite bikini this summer, check out:
