With Kent State being one of the most well known schools for its fashion program, it is no surprise to walk through campus and see an abundance of fashionable students.
Fashion merchandising major Skyler Speelman was heading to class in her favorite black and white plaid wrap. She paired it with her favorite skinny jeans and black booties she picked up from Macy’s.
Speelman says celebrities are amongst her biggest fashion inspirations.
“They have a classic look, but always bring it up a notch to be more chic,” Speelman says.
Some of the celebrities that inspire her are Emma Roberts, Taylor Swift, and Emma Stone.
The 19-year-old describes her taste in fashion as classic, comfortable and chic. Speelman says, “…I always add my own twist, either with jewelry or a hair accessory.”
