Sometimes the best inspiration from fashion week comes from beyond the catwalk. Off-runway looks are also a major part of fashion week. Paris Fashion Week attracted celebrities from all over the world to show off fashion from their signed brands aside from the runway. 

Reliving some of the best celebrity fashion moments, A Magazine counts down the best off-runway looks from Paris Fashion Week. 

Ciara

Starting off with number eight, we have musical artist Ciara at the Dundas show wearing a custom design from the label. Her outfit showcased a sheer, sexy gown that the designer himself put together for the show. 

Phoebe Dynevor

Next we have number seven, actress Phoebe Dynevor paired with Louis Vuitton. Dynevor’s look expressed the new era of dramatic, large accessories Louis Vuitton is creating. This is not Dynevor’s first time working with the brand. She’s been a loyal since last year and even attended PFW with the brand for the Spring 2023 season — in which Dynevor’s cropped tank and metallic culottes also received lots of social media attention. Louis Vuitton is bringing back bigger bags, and larger accessories to its products which shows throughout this look as seen on the shoulders of the jacket.

Florence Pugh

Actress Florence Pugh is coming in at number six. Pugh caught much media attention while wearing her Valentino look to its show. The sheer, sparkling skirt paired with the relaxed fit sweatshirt showcased the juxtaposition of textures throughout the look. The mix of casual on the top and daring on the bottom caused the internet to nearly shut down—though we should have expected something so eye-catching to come from her.

Pugh is no stranger embracing sheer garments (as seen by the pink see-through gown she wore to the brand’s couture show last July), and does not let the haters dissuade her from showing her body. While her look may have been daring, the slicked back hair, clean collar and chic handbag gave the ensemble a level of refinement that is typically associated with the luxury brand. 

Hunter Schafer

“Euphoria” actress Hunter Schafer, also the new face of Mugler, made her presence known during PFW. Schafer hosted the #AngelElixir party and wore a custom piece made by creative director, Casey Cadwallader. The glittering bodysuit was extremely attention grabbing complemented by the midnight blue poof that sat atop her hip. 

Halsey

Musical artist Halsey comes in at number four as she showed up and showed out in a metallic hooded dress—one of fashion’s biggest trending silhouettes that was revived in 2022. Halsey worked with many designers during PFW, but her Paco Rabanne outfit was the ultimate show stopper. The bold silver dress was an eye-catching look that grabbed attention from around the world, and was a perfect homage to the late Paco Rabanne’s signature for chainmail dresses.

Julia Fox

Julia Fox is an icon in the fashion community and her outfits will always make heads turn. That is exactly what she did during PFW. Fox was spotted wearing the luxury, sustainable brand AVAVAV that is based out of Florence, Italy. The fur boots alone are a statement piece, but pairing them with leather underwear and a cropped bomber jacket only makes the outfit that much stronger.

Jared Leto

Stepping into the second spot, actor Jared Leto takes the podium. Leto stepped out for PFW wearing Off-White at the label’s “Lunar Delivery” show. The embellishments on the tan suit add character, and the addition of the the oversized white leather jacket makes the ensemble unquestionable eye catching (though the cape is a statement piece in of itself). Finishing off those final details were the combination of the black gloves and sunglasses that tied the entire outfit together for a great menswear look. 

Zendaya

Taking the number one spot, we have the iconic Zendaya. The movie star used to work with Valentino, but stepped out for PFW wearing a Louis Vuitton three-piece matching set. The printed set caught the attention of many and send the internet into a frenzy—as her outfits tend to do so. The high boots, high-waisted shorts and open blazer created a sexy, empowering outfit that fans around the world were obsessed with.
