Valentine’s Day Lookbook: How to Slay the Single Life

Valentine’s Day is only a few days away, and once again, some of us have ended up baeless. Don’t get us wrong, we’re not bitter at A Mag; in fact, we totally love Valentine’s Day, but this year, we want to pay homage to our single ladies. There are too many date night lookbooks to count, but this one’s dedicated to all my single ladies. Grab a couple of friends and ignite on the ultimate Galentine’s Day slayage.

Girls Day In

This is for the comfy cuties who want to replace F-boys with facials. Dedicate the day to bettering yourself. This is the time to indulge and pamper in the most beneficial way.

At A Mag, we recommend planning a trip to Ulta or Sephora and going all out. Pick out your favorite mask, lip scrubs and moisturizers  pretty much anything you need to feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Extra Galentine’s points to you if you stop the nail salon or treat yourself to a blowout. Do whatever it is that makes you feel good.

Later that night, grab your girls and some snacks and luxuriate in the ultimate pampering sesh. Oh yeah, don’t forget to blast your favorite female anthems – we have some suggestions for a killer playlist.

Girl Anthems We Love

Crazy- Kehlani

Gold- Kiiara

Da Da Ding- Gener8tion

Breakin Dishes- Rihanna

Too Much- Kehlani

Top Down- Kari Faux

Single? Sushi?

Go downtown to grab lunch with your bestfriend. Step outside of your comfort zone; order something you’ve never had before. Take the time to truly indulge, and don’t forget the dessert.

After lunch, hit up a matinee showing of a movie of you and your friends choosing. A Mag recommends 50 Shades Darker.

No Boys Allowed

Valentine’s Day weekend is the perfect time to head out for a night on the town with your girls. Pull your favorite dress and heels out of your closet as you head out to your favorite party spot. Roll up to the party with your girl gang and dance the night away.

Celebrate the strength of your friendships and the love you share with them. Beating the Valentine’s Day blues have never been so fun.
