Halloween Makeup Inspiration

Gypsy

We all realize that Halloween weekend will be here before we even take our next breath. That’s why we are giving you make-up nerds some inspiration for 2016 Halloween. These makeup looks are for you to either mimic or play around with and have fun. Whether you’re staying here in Kent one weekend and the next you’re traveling somewhere else, these makeup looks will for sure be insanely different, and some even scary real. We grabbed a local, extremely talented makeup artist, Megan Spisak, to show us some freaky-good looks that she was inspired by and put her own creative twist on.

Meg calls her first look Halloween makeup look, Hooked Mermaid. This look is perfect for someone who loves gory and girly. Walking through Kent you will have everyone stopping and staring. Some people may ask if you’re ok, because this makeup look is that realistic. Do not worry, no human was harmed in the making of this look. And if you don’t like gory, just forget about the hook and blood. You’ll still be a cute mermaid!

Meg’s second look this year is about to be super trendy this Halloween, Unicorn. We see it everywhere this year! While rainbow makeup is totally in, and some might be scared to try. Go out of our comfort zone this Halloween and be a beautiful, little unicorn!

The third look by the wonderful Meg Spisak is called, Gypsy. Have fun with this one! Make those eyes smokey sexy, and rock some jewels. Meg had fun with this by adding a colorful headband. We love this look because who doesn’t love to bling out their outfit when they can?

The fourth, and sadly the last Halloween makeup look is called, Lady Frankenstein. This look is perfect for you guys out there whose color is green; your eyes will for sure pop! Don’t save the drama for your mama with this look. Make those brows bold, and work that dark lipstick!

Whether you want to tone these looks down, or go all out and get a really hip Instagram picture out of it; go for it! We want you all to take a step out of your comfort zone this Halloween and do something that will make crowds stop and stare.

If you would like to get your makeup done or hair styled by Megan Spisak, whether it’s a Halloween look, for a wedding, or fun, do not hesitate to contact this lovely girl.
